I'm looking for some managers to help moderate and be active in the studio, and invite people. Please reply to this thread or contact me on my profile if you think you could be able to do that!

Things I look for when promoting new managers:

• Someone who's specifically said they would like to be a manager
• Someone who's commented in the studio at least once in the last week
• Someone who has experience related to neurodiversity (eg. is ND themselves, makes ND-related content, has neurodiversity as an interest of theirs)
• Someone who is respectful, inclusive and doesn't hold any really strong/controversial views about neurodiversity or spread misinformation
• Someone who seems trustworthy, responsible, and would represent the studio well
• Someone who seems skilled at communication/easy to understand and would be capable of handling difficult situations

I am open to promoting anyone of any age, background or identity.

Please note that if you ask to be a manager, it doesn't necessarily mean you will get to be one.

Instructions for managers:

➼ Managers must always follow studio rules and community guidelines, else they may be removed.
➼ Managers do not have to be active in the studio in order to keep their manager status (but I try to only promote active curators).
➼ Managers can invite any curators they want, and anyone who wants to be invited can be invited (they do not have to fill out the form or give the codeword in order to be invited).
➼ Managers can remove unrelated projects and projects that break the community guidelines.
➼ Managers must not remove related projects for no reason, without discussing with other managers first (even if a project contains some misinformation, it can help to have it in the studio, as others can discuss it and learn about the issues).
➼ Unless a curator is causing significant harm to the studio or asks to be removed, managers must not remove curators without discussing with other managers first (even if someone is annoying or misinformed, they may still benefit from being in the studio).
➼ If someone is trolling or deliberately causing harm to the studio, managers should not engage in any arguments or unreasonable discussions, but should instead report any disrespectful comments/projects and remove the curator if necessary.
➼ Managers must not promote new managers without discussing with other managers first.
➼ If I become inactive or unable to moderate the studio for a long time, other managers may take lead with moderation, and potentially make any necessary adjustments to studio rules/description/thumbnail/extra links (such as project ideas), having first discussed with other managers (or if other managers are inactive, with other active studio members).
➼ Managers must not change the theme of the studio or the name of the studio.
➼ Managers must not make exceptions to studio rules, or remove studio rules, they may only enforce new ones or clarify/reword old ones.

hi, squi !

So, I found out you were looking for managers, and I just wanted to apply!

Anyways, hi! I'm Rhea, (although that name is prone to change, as I'm under the genderfluid umbrella) and I'm autistic (and a selective mute), and have ARFID, paranoia disorder, dissociative amnesia, and maladaptive daydreams.

I wanted to apply as a manager because I really like the Neuro-Squiggles studio, but also because I think I'd be a good manager, as I often check the Neuro-Squiggles studio every forty-five minutes or so unless I'm at school everyday (its become a nervous habit, oops-) so I could help keep track of who has requested to join or not. I also think I'd be a good manager because I'd be willing to help out with any questions people might ask about ND people or experiences, and because I'd also be willing to just help someone out if they need it!

I've been on scratch for about three years on various accounts, and because of this, I am experienced in moderation, and I also know how to deal with hate, homophobes, and other people who might be rude towards studio members. If anyone like that tries to say something in the studio, I'd remind people to not start any drama, and just report and move on.

But, yeah! That's my application!

I don't know if this is still open– But I'm Ozzie,,, hello! I have anxiety and ADHD along with another disorder I am not going to go into right now. I'm non-binary and pansexual My pronouns are they/them, and I'm interested in a manager role.

I have been on scratch for (holy wow) five years, on different accounts, of course. I would like to be a manager because
am really gifted at leadership and great with dealing with drama.
I also love the squiggles studio and run a studio myself.

But I am not here to run. I am here to be an online drama/vent area. Though I am really really bad at RESPONDING, I have been an area for friends to come and vent to whenever they need.
I am a people person. I will do anything to make people happy. Usually, that is good in a power position.
I get on scratch at least once a day, mornings/nights because my school is really strict and I cannot get on during school time.

Honestly, reading this over, it's a big jumbled mess. I hope you can— find sOMe gOOd quAliTieS in here and possibly consider me for the job of manager!

my name is marzy!!!! i have spech sound disorder, autism, ADHD, tourette’s disrder, schizophrnia, paranoia, catatonia, bipolar disrder, depression (major), anxiety, panic attacks, ocd, did, pica, insomnia disrder, restless legs sindrome, night paralysis, gender dysphoria, anti social personality disorder, delirium, and cluster a personality disorders. i hope that this wont ruin my chances as this is something i was born with and i have been suffering from since my berth ;((((((

i think this wuld be grate learning experience for me because it will help me very much and i love helping people and i am really well known for helping people and it will be great if i could help more other people that need help and maybe people like myself thank you very much!!!<333333

Hello! My name is Jason! I would like to apply for a manager. I, myself have schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, slight panic attacks, Insomnia, restless leg syndrome, Social-anxiety (low, but not completely low), hyperhidrosis, an eating disorder, psychosis, narcolepsy, slight tourret syndrome, and a few more.

I would really like to be a manager so I can help people understand themselves as much as I would like to understand myself, I give very good advice and like helping people as much as they need to be helped. I try super hard to be active tho I'm dealing with a lot. It would be a privilege if you promote me, but you don't have to

Hello, I'm Cedar (he/him, please), and I'd like to be a manager, if you're still looking for any at the moment.

Neurotype-wise, I have ADHD (combined/innatentive-hyperactive type), I am on the autism spectrum, and I deal with BPD. I joined the Neuro-Squiggles studio around five months ago, and I have recently been checking the studio several times a day (4-5 times) to interact with other neurodiverse people and to occasionally give others advice. I'd say I'm pretty knowledgeable in the field of neurodiversity as well – I enjoy learning about the several ways brains can function and like to understand both my behaviour and other people's. The brain such a complex and interesting topic, and I like conversing about it. I try to make my projects accessible, and I want to spread acceptance of neurodiversity throughout the site.

I make a pretty good leader and moderator – I have been selected as co-leader in three Scratch camps (Scratch Writing Camp, Scratch Design Camp, and Scratch Science Camp) and I know how to deal with conflicts and controversy in an appropriate manner. I love to help others, and I have answered a few hundred queries in the QaS forum.

Feel free to ask me to elaborate on anything if needed! :)

i’m Ida ( or elowen )! i have an offical diagnosis for ASD, im waiting for ADHD test results, and am self diagnosed with misophonia ( i have all the symptoms, its also a common thing to have with ASD and ADHD ). i go by any pronouns you can think of, but prefer it/she/they in order of preference.
but any really, i dont care haha

i would describe myself as Loyal, Empathetic, patient, slow learner, cowardly, overprotective.

i would love to be a manager at neuro squiggles because i have been a member for a few months, i am very active there and i think my activity could help this studio! i would invite people, etc etc. i am very diplomatic so i would be good at solving disagreements within the studio, to help limit conflicts between members for an overall smoother comment section! i am very rule-abiding, almost too much and i will enforce any and all rules in the studio. i do not have any controversial beliefs about anything really, i support LGBTQ+ rights, transgender rights, BLM, all religions, everyone matters! we all deserve love and respect, no matter what! ) i also accept people who are respectfully disapproving of lgbtq, etc as long as they keep their feelings to themselves and are not rude or disrespectful to anyone that is those things.

overall, i would love to be a manager of this studio because i am diplomatic, active and accepting.

Hi Squi!
I came across the Neuro-squiggles studio and I love that there are people who talk about their experiences and teach others.

My name is Nyx or Onyx whatever is easier for you to remember. I have a borderline personality disorder, ADHD and I have anxiety.
I would love to be a manager and teach others about what I have and other ones I am interested in learning about! I am really active on scratch and check my messages frequently. I have been on scratch for about 2 or 3 years. This is my new account. I love art and I'm planning on sharing information I have learned through research and through psychology. I am also happy to accept questions and requests for projects ND's people may have. I also know how to deal with homophobic, transphobic, and hate towards me or others in general. I love how accepting most are on scratch! I also love that they have a studio that provides safe places like this one!

I use they/them pronouns and I am very accepting of everyone I am willing to learn and teach about things I have but about what others have. As I love to learn about other pride flags and pride things in general! If you have any questions for me you can reach me at @-CreativeFlow-

hey, i'm Asher! i've been in the studio for a while now and i was hoping to become a manager if that's possible. i read all the rules and i have experience being in leadership roles, online and irl. i'm also very active on Scratch, so i can help out in the studio a lot. so i feel like i would make a good addition to the studio!

some info about me:
i use she/her and ve/vem pronouns
i'm a cis girl. aromantic and pansexual
i have Inattentive ADHD (formerly known as ADD), depression and PTSD
i respect everyone who deserves it, and even if i don't understand someone's identity i still respect it
