I suggest you take out the Scratch 4.0 part - since we are nowhere near putting out a major release number - and just leave it as a suggestion for a new Scratch Cat

This actually… looks very good compared to 99% of “new scratch cat design” suggestions I've seen. I agree with mumu245 that this should be an addition, or Cat-c costume instead of replacing Scratch Cat entirely.

Hello Scratch Team. You have been pushing a liberal political agenda on this site for far too long. This site should stay out of politics. People should be able to still post their political opinions, but there shouldn’t be any “official” political stance or Scratch. The ST is not going to change this on their own, and shoot down any attempts asking them to change. Please put this in your signature if you agree that

Scratch should be politically neutral.

The ST’s biggest defense is that they’re being welcoming, but they can be perfectly welcoming of all people and stay out of politics. Scratch is about coding, and that should be the Scratch Team’s biggest concern to maintain.

definitely not a 4.0 suggestion, but a cat-c pose of the cat just standing would be great. i feel maybe the 3.0 standing scratch cat would work better?

I gotta say, I am impressed with this design! It is not too drastic from the current mascot but this one also has a modern touch. However, I would recommend Scratch Cat's eyes be black, not grey, so they are more visible. I would also still like the old Scratch Cat with its more side-on view, so maybe this could be another version for Scratch Cat (like what flying Scratch-Cat). Good job though!

After some experiments I found that some of the shapes aren’t grouped. Maybe grouping some of the shapes together (ex. Eyes, Head, Arms, etc.)? It would make any modifications to the costume slightly easier (ex. I want to put sunglasses on Scratch Cat may require the removal of the eyes). Other than that I like if this was added into the Cat sprite as costume Cat-c.
