Project Statistics

Have you ever wondered who is watching your projects, or views the project has gotten in a day, etc? Project Statistics can be a new page on scratch, where you can review your views, and ways to make your projects better!

I don't understand this part. If this is proposing some sort of feedback system, couldn't you already use comments for that? Additionally, adding a way to see who viewed projects is rejected, and you can work around this by simply creating a cloud variable, making it get set to zero every time you click the green flag, and then you'll be able to see who clicked the flag, when.

Also, I don't really think that knowing who views your project is important. Considering that Scratch already tells you the number of views, loves, likes, and remixes, I don't see the need of this. I would support the feedback system, as that actually serves a purpose, but again, you have the comments for that. Overall, not a bad idea, but I would only implement a very basic feedback system if I were the ST.

There are several uses of knowing who views your project. For one, seeing if the people who view your projects are your followers can give you an idea of if they're keeping up with your projects or if your projects are interesting.

However, it's rejected, I'm surprised no one pointed that out yet.
4.3 Ability to see who viewed a project
Views are different from loves and favorites in that users can view a project to see if they like it, and then love or favorite the project if they do like it. With this suggestion, some drama could be started if a user sees that another user viewed a project, but did not love or favorite it. Moreover, projects generally get significantly more views than loves, favorites, or comments, so if users got notifications for this, it would lead to lots of unwanted messages. Despite all this, there is a workaround for this which uses cloud variables, so one could potentially see who viewed a project.
