!READ BEFORE SUGGESTING! stop posting off-topic content (Please don't suggest here)

So I've seen a lot of people on the suggestions forums posting off-topic content, and it's getting quite annoying. So here are some tips to stop this:
1. Don't post on suggestions older than 2 weeks unless your post will be helpful.
2. If you have an suggestion, make your own topic. It'll get more attention that way.
3. Don't bump posts like “BUMP” or “I like big… BUMPS! and I can not lie!” etc, because it's very off topic.

Bumps are not off-topic. They are attempts to allow more people to view the thread to continue discussion.

Also, #2 is not always true, because it may get closed for being a duplicate if it has been suggested before. It is advised to continue the discussion on existing suggestions rather than make a new topic in that case, just so all the discussion stays organized.

Also also — as far as I recall — the Scratch Team is not looking for new guides in the forums at this time.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

I was a Scratch Team member from May 10th 2019 to October 29th 2021. I reached 20,000 forum posts on June 24th 2024.

If you want this to be stickied, isn't this considered a guide?
If so, the Scratch Team isn't looking for guides at the moment.

With the Paris Olympics starting, I recommend playing Running Simulator, with an Olympics update in the works.
