Emojis : A Coding Emoji

Scratch is a coding website, so why not have a coding emoji!

I support this. It's strange that there's no Scratch emoji even though it's Scratch.

That doesn't look like it would be a good emoji, there should be better proportions. (like 26 x 28 at least)

The thing is, Scratch is not really only for coding. There are different aspects of the community (examples: artists, musicians, writers) and those aspects may feel discriminated if a coding emoji was added.

With code blocks? Come on, anyone uses code blocks, even for animations! The purpose of Scratch is to code using, you guessed it, codeblocks. I don't see how this would be offensive.

Well, assumig you're more of a coder, how would you react if the Scratch Team added a paintbrush emoji and didn't add a code blocks one?

I wouldn't care less. It's just an emoji. I also create costumes. Oh, and guess what Wikipedia said: "Scratch is a high-level block-based visual programming language and website aimed primarily at children as an educational tool for programming…" Find out more here.
