In my old dream journal, I had a few statistics about my dreams that I thought I'd share.

This information was taken from a total of 97 dreams:
-The most frequently reoccurring person in my dreams was my sister, who appeared in 46/97, my mum and dad were my next most frequent people in my dream.
-The most frequently reoccurring place was my school, which was the setting for 35/97 of my dreams, with my home appearing as the next most frequent.
-Interestingly, the majority of my dreams took place in these two locations, with the next highest dream location being my Primary school, which only appeared 4 times.
-Out of a total of 144 different people in my dreams, 23 were fictional and 121 were real people I know.
-Out of those 23 fictional characters, Anakin Skywalker was the most frequently reoccurring one having appeared in 6 dreams
-32 locations appeared in my dreams, with only one of those being fictional (Deepdean School from Murder Most Unladylike)
-16 of my 97 dreams were lucid, with the most effective method of becoming lucid being Wake Back to Bed

Because I'm not entirely sure what dreams count as lucid, here are two of my less intriguing dreams:

They are dreams where you know it’s a dream while you are dreaming.

My dreams are weird, like I know I'm in a dream but not really?? whereas if I'm lucid dreaming I know I am in a dream completely and start doing whatever I want lol, but I can't make things appear, and I can't rlly control anything.

If that's how you can tell that your dreams are lucid, then I can say for sure that none of my recorded dreams are lucid.

You dont have to! the definition linked says you just have to know you are dreaming while dreaming

please do not post unnecessary posts. it clutters the forum topic and could draw attention away from others who need help.

i started a dream journal like a week ago and i recorded every dream right after waking up. except in practice not really because when i wake up on a school day i just press the snooze button 20 times and then forget my dream.

so once i had a dream where i “had” sleep paralysis, and then there was this sleep paralysis “demon” that was haunting me so i got out of bed and beat him up. the sleep paralysis demon was just some man.

and long ago i had what i think was a lucid dream. don't remember much because this was a long time ago and i didn't write it down but uh. i remembered that i unfortunately didn't have full control over my dreams (e.g. i couldn't fly) but i could do some stuff. until i couldn't anymore. for some reason.

and then like another long time ago i had another lucid dream. i think it started with me getting sleep paralysis but then i got control of the dream? i don't really remember but anyways. so i decided to use my newfound powers to transform into a creature because i hate humans apparently. and then i eventually lost control of my dream. again.

I’ve been keeping a dream journal for over a year now, but recently I started a new one and I keep track of all the people and places that appear in my dreams. It’s kind of sad that right now I’ve had more dreams at school than at home (school is my most frequent dream location currently). Whilst I started a dream journal just to increase dream recall for lucid dreaming, I’ve found having dreams every night is quite fun and finding patterns in my dreams is really cool.
The night before last I had six dreams in one night, the most I’ve ever had. Three of them were lucid (woke up really fast in all of them though)

Wow that’s an… interesting dream. My dreams are barely ever exciting, but I’d rather that than have lots of nightmares (I barely have any for something reason)

Weird, my dreams are always fun and insane. Same I'd much rather have a boring dream than a nightmare.

That’s interesting! Of course, there are often unusual things in my dreams (For example, last night there was a giant glass of apple juice outside my window) but the overall dream is almost always something normal like going to school or sitting in my room.
