SIMPL-DOS is/was a project (made in batch) started by me to create a clone of DOS. It slowly turned into a useful and effective tool for using and administrating a computer, developed and maintained by a team of 4-5. Then, me (and the rest of the team) lost interest in it, and it more or less died.

Now, I have decided to give it another try, out of boredom (and being poked about it by an original S-D team member). But, to make this successful again, we need more developers. Even if you do not know batch, you could help port it to another language or OS!

I could help I guess, i'm highly skilled with the batch language, my latest batch file is around 1500 lines, I guess it is basically exactly what your attempting to create, it manages and edits the registry, local users and machines, files and folders etc.

I could be useful for batch scripting and maybe even website development as i'm also quite good with HTML CSS JS etc.

That's a tough language to build in. I am personally very anti-desktop applications because I build for the browser (cloud). But it looks like a sweet project =]
