Also, I don't think the admin panel should be accessible by anyone, with just a simple password. The admin panel should be part of the backend, and should use an authorization system that's stronger than a password.

True, though it seems like the other example only allowed Scratch links too. Of course it doesn't work, you must use the generator at www.purr.ml. Plus, I haven't added /u/ routes yet, so that wouldn't work either.
