When you make a scratch project, it doesn't allow you to copy an image from google, and paste it onto your scratch project. So whenever i make a project, i have to save (download) the image i want, then put it onto my project. i don't like that method because it takes up lots memory on my
computer. can scratch please add this?

There doesn't really need to be a mockup. It us just copying an image from google (through right clicking or ctrl+c) and pasting it in the the scratch paint editor (through right clicking or ctrl+v).

Yes, I support the suggestion. There are many times when I have to put a lot of designs that I made on other sites and pictures on scratch and I keep having to download them. I found a duplicate that was closed though (so it doesn't count), but in the second to last post, a user wrote this:

Meanwhile, here is another duplicate I found.

I love this suggestion. A lot of my projects involve getting photos from other sources, and it takes up way too much time to download and upload it. Huge support from me.

I recommend that you turn of really obvious browser extensions that change the look of the website completely (by right-clicking it on the top) before taking screenshots.

ctrl+v

functionality

edit: what if we don’t add a new button and just let the existing paste button do this too?


edit2: I wonder if they don’t have this to prevent inappropriate images that you would currently have to have downloaded on your computer to upload to scratch?

i can't because it says “Google Chrome may not be able to keep itself updated” and it doesn't let me. i don't like it when people say “wHat? yOU uSe ChromE 86? i uSe cHromE 543!!111!”
