Interesting idea! It is useful to know who started the conversation. I've been on some sites where the topic owner's name is printed in a different color (like red) so you can tell very easily. That might be easier to do than to stick another line in the rank area.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

Actually, that's what I was going to do in the image, but using Inspect Element is too hard for me… Might I suggest maybe red?

EDIT: Nah, red is too attention grabbing. The ST might use red, though. Perhaps a better color might be green.

Thinking about it, green is actually not bad. Not blue, because blue is used for links. Dark blue is too similar to black. We might do the orange of Scratch, if it contrasts well enough with the background.

I would shade the background of the posts, maybe very light blue, like some forums do.

Hmmm… not a bad idea. We could shade it a very light blue or orange. I still support red for ST.

I just made a demo of what my shading idea would look like:

I changed the ST from red to Scratch orange because the red was ugly and this still stands out.
I also only shaded the side bar of each post, because shading the whole post would mess up things like scratchblocks.

Edit: made the orange lighter … I think it still needs work though

The blue is pretty much perfect in my eyes - it doesn't ruin the aesthetics at all

Yeah the orange stands out/doesn't really fit. Make it a bit lighter and it would be perfect

I just wish I could view images on my school computer… My school blocks all images. I'll probably get back to you in about 8 hours.

If you support, it should be +1. If you don't, it should be +0, not -1. If you half-support, it should be +1/2 or +0.5, not +0. You can't subtract from the supporters.

Yeah, it should. For some reason I didn't think of the logo so I used the orange from the Scratch Cat sprite.
