The ST might want to consider doing this with “added” in studios too. That way I never run out of ways to say “added” as I can just keep saying “added” or something similar.

I think this is the biggest problem with the spam filter, although it can be workarounded with Random Number To Avoid Spam (RNTAS), but I personally never use that for anything as it doesn't really communicate anything (and RNTAS also basically makes the spam filter useless which is not really a solution).

Filterbots can only sense words, not context. If you are using it innocently, maybe change your wording?

Just a way to avoid the filter bots flagging your comment as spam.

Same thing should be made for “Thank you” and “Thanks”

Spammers could just go “hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi”. No support.

I do agree with @mybearworld that having any whitelist to a word will just make it easy for spammers to spam that 1 word. The filter is in place to prevent spammers, so this also defeats the point.

Since Scratch is about cultivating creativity then maybe this helps push us to be more creative.

Hi
Just wanted to say Hi.
Hi, just hoping you’re having a great day.
Mostly just here to say Hi
I’m not like all of those other people that just say “Hi” on your profile because I say it with more words.
Hi, are you going to make any more violin duet projects?

it's possible you've just posted “hi” a lot recently.
it's annoying, but it would be hard to improve without making it easier to spam. try rewording the comment.

but what I was also thinking is that there is a spam filter so if you say it repetitively on a profile/project then It is counted as spam

Support. I can’t say “Thank you” for a day or so now .-.

Semi-support. I'd rather have the filter bot be slightly more lenient on these keywords, but not whitelist them altogether.

“Hi” is actually what a lot of the spam I've seen is so I feel like this is just going to let more spam happen. Besides, if you're saying “Hi” a lot and it isn't spam, would it kill you to add an exclamation point?

I also get that message even when I add an exclamation mark
