And thing I’m talking about is the “time by user” it sometimes shows posts from a long time ago even when the recent post was from today

I don't think this is a bug, it just shows the last post interacted with, that means it'll also include edited posts.

No it’s not that. When you edit a post from a long time ago. The most recent post from that topic shows on the forum preview.

Yep then this is a bug!

This is already very common knowledge. The oldest I've ever seen is December 21st, 2012.
