Here's a preview of my take on enhancing the wiki's frontpage. Let me know what I should change.

This is pretty nice :0 although unrelated to your edits, the contents in the “About The Wiki and the Mineral Fish” section should be shortened. most of it could probably go into a separate page about the history of the fandom, I suppose. The line about the official mc servers could go into a separate portion towards the end of the front page.

I was also thinking of making a separate page for informations about the wiki & fandom.
Anyway, here's the current result, sorry if the image's too large.

Your front page concept is fire, oml. The only thing I would suggest to add is a section for the news, but I doubt we would need it rn due to the fandom still being relatively inactive

Thank you, I've used custom-styled DIVs and tables to make most of the page's containers and layout. I'd add the news section, but as you said, both topic and wiki seem inactive, and that makes it a little pointless.

Edit: Should I go ahead and replace the current frontpage with the new one?

I suggest that we start treating the wiki as an archival source, and start making pages to document the fish, Shellfish meetings, and ARGs. I have a stack of personal papers that contain fish that have likely never been seen before, which I have already archived in HEIF format. I also have 262 meeting transcripts personally archived. I tested Apple Intelligence against some of them, and it produced proper summaries, so that should also help. And remember that ChanRec and ChanSpec have their share of recordings as well.

I'll check out the wiki and see what I can do to help in about 30 minutes.

good idea, actually. an idea I have that we should remake the census on the wiki because I haven't heard from the original website's owner for quite a long time

That sounds interesting, what if we'd make an Archive namespace for the archives?

Edit: …but what's Shellfish?
Edit 2: Nevermind, I found out what's that.

We don't need an entire namespace. What I would do would be to make a “Transcripts” article with a list of articles for each transcript, with each subpage named “Transcripts/Meeting Name”, or however subpages are created.

EDIT: On second thought, maybe we could replace the Transcripts article with a category page. I created a category page for transcripts, and I'll make an info box template next.

I am giving every admin on the wiki and forums permission to promote people to admins while I am inactive. The reason why am I inactive so much is on my profile page.

I do not really like how the containers look outdated and old, and also they would be better green.

I remember -gge saying that lore wise, the official mineral fish are the oldest and are basically 1k years old
the thing was, that was a long time ago
found one of the posts relating to the official mineral fish's age

“went to rest for at least 1300 years”
Why does that remind me of a MLP episode?

Everything said by -gge is canon unless otherwise stated. You can take the lore developments made by me with a grain of salt.
