Try compressing any large files in the project like costumes or sounds.
Make sure no files are over 5MB, if they are, split them into 2 parts of 2.5MB each and upload it to the project.

I assume music files are causing the issue. Can you try removing them to confirm that this is the case? Don't worry, there is a workaround for this.

Project too big to save?

This could be caused by any of the above, though usually it's because of large music files (e.g. ones converted into an audio file from a video file but still carry over the data of the video).

Epic I have the 100+ post gamer rank now my opinion is fact because I'm verified on scratch.mit.edu bow down to me non plus peasants

I come to the forums to learn and to take a break from making projects. A lot of my replies will be half joke, so bear with me lol

Audio files do take up space as the max file size is 5 MB. If it is too large, you should split the files. Then you could post it. Or you could remove some audio and split some footage to post the project.
The best idea is make different parts, like “Part 1” and “Part 2”

This is what you should do to post a project

Make sure the file is not over 5 MB, if it is, split them in 2 parts
make sure it’s neat

Hope this helps.

If you open a Scratch Project in an unzipping tool, you'll see that .sb3 files are just .zip files. A file called project.json is inside there, so Scratch can load a project as long as its project.json file (not the entire thing) is not over 5 MB, and assets like sounds must also be under 10 MB, otherwise it won't save or open.
