Sprite1 is touching Sprite2?

I have another idea for a new boolean block in Sensing.

<[Sprite1 v] is touching [Sprite2 v]? :: sensing>

And another option is…

<[mouse-pointer v] is touching [Sprite1 v]? :: sensing>

Sprite1 is touching Sprite2?

if this was snap! i'd say "no support, easy workaround:
(ask [the first sprite v] for (<touching [the second sprite v] ?> :: grey ring) :: control)
" but since this isn't snap! support. it's annoying to have to use broadcasts and/or variables.pl;.

Moving from Scratch? Don't learn C or Java, try Snap!

That will detect if It's touching the 2nd sprite!

Unless you need both sprites to do different things then you won't have to use variables/broadcasts.

So, I tested it out with broadcasts, and when I made Sprite1 touch Sprite2 in drag, it didn't do the thing. Tested with variables. Same results.

Okay. Here's what I'm looking for. Some code from my game:

forever
if <<key [space v] pressed?> or <mouse down?>> then
if <not <[Apple v] is touching [ToggleButton v] :: sensing>> then
broadcast [TurretShoot v]
set [TURRET HAS SHOT v] to [yes]
end
end
end

But since the boolean doesn't exist, I can't do that sadly.

So, I did the maths, and first of all, I need to put that

broadcast [TurretShoot v]
