Scratch on Nintendo Switch
I was thinking if it is possible for Scratch to be added to the Nintendo Switch E-Shop as a free digital download. Whether that be the entire website embedded in a webpage viewer, or just the editor like on Android.
My idea was that, using the touchscreen of the Switch console, you could program and play games on the console, and since it is a modern console, it wouldn't have many problems running. And since the Switch has a decent web browser (so i've heard) it may also be possible to explore the entire website and view other's projects.
An added bonus is being able to control Scratch projects using the joy-con or pro controllers, leaving some cool possibilities to try, and can even make it to Scratch on computers as a gamepad tool if possible, since gamepads can be connected to phones and computers, and not completely gatekeeping users from accessing certain projects, as the Switch is compatible with touch as well.
Since Scratch is already a platform for all ages, it is a candidate for an app on the Switch in my opinion.
Pros:
-Easy Scratch on the go, not being on a clunky underpowered mobile device
-Can take advantage of joy con controllers
-Can open a range of more users to enter the Scratch platform
Cons:
-Web browser may be hard to implement, since it isn't definitive how good the Switch's browsing capabilities are for a website like Scratch
-May take a lot of time and may not be seen as worth it
-Screen may be too small and not optimized for Scratch
Personally even though I have a good computer, I'd like to see my Scratch projects on a tablet without having to work around my mobile devices (which are pretty clunky) and it would be cool to experiment with Scratch projects, whether it'd be mine or not, on a TV with controllers.
What do y'all think? Also, I hope this was easy to read

You should also ensure that you read the other topics marked with “Sticky”, as they include important information that you should have before you post on the forum. Keep thinking of ways to improve Scratch!
The Scratch Team does not have the resources to put a Scratch editor onto a video game console. This includes making a Scratch editor for Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Xbox, and Playstation consoles.
However, the ability to connect gaming controllers to a computer or tablet to use for Scratch is NOT rejected. You can discuss it on this topic.

Ah my bad, I actually didn't know they rejected that suggestion! Thanks for informing me.You should reread it (or at least skim it) every time you make a suggestion or have to refer to it for any other reason, as it updates frequently. I've made that mistake in the past, too.
