My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 87.0.4280.141, No Flash version detected

So, I really don't want to post this because people have probably posted similar but it's been three days and I feel like I have to before I share script 8 of my audiobook.

Thumbnails are…extremely broken. I used to be able to fix it but copying a project and then saving but that doesn't work. If you see this https://scratch.mit.edu/users/FollowCherryBlossom/ my current five projects there have a white background with a scratch cat. I first noticed this three days ago when I shared my SWC promo, which still hasn't had the thumbnail save. I've shared another project yesterday that did the same thing. I also shared three other projects as a test/filler because I get OCD over certain things which is why my profile is aesthetic. I want the five projects on the front to be the same type of thumbnail (see projects for example). I either want five white projects or five thumbnail projects and the latter is not an option so I shared three fillers that I really don't need shared.

But the reason why I need to report this now is because I'm about to share episode 8 script for my audiobook and later will be sharing episode 6 of my audiobook (thumbnail won't save). I suppose I can share episode 6 on a scene but it's not good without the thumbnail because all episodes are usually placed together in studios and the thumbnails are the same with a different episode number. But for scripts…I can't share them without a thumbnail, so I need this fixed ideally by the time episode 6 is shared which will be before 28th January because I need to share my script.

It's happening to some people, I know friends that don't have it. But if you look at my profile and lordibel's profile we have the same bug.

Its confirmed that this bug only occurs on Chrome OS.

Oh, I didn't realise it was other browsers too. Maybe anyone else who's struggling try a browser that isn't the one you're using

Weird, I'm on chrome, but i am not seeing the bug.

{This May Help You} I've noticed That The project thumbnail is whatever was on the stage when you click the save button, So this results in random things from the project being the thumbnail. I recommend playing the game until what you want is the thumbnail, or drawing a thumbnail and using this code:

when green flag clicked :: hat control
hide

And Then show the thumbnail when you save the project.

Please read the rest of the topic before posting. It's a bug not a problem with project, a scratch team member said it was a bug. Chrome 87.0 has problems with thumbnails. It's a browser issue not a scratch wide issue.

also as I said, you don't last save it on the scratch cat image because else nothing else would be saved

I'm kind of annoyed because people keep telling me to show the thumbnail and everything but I've been on scratch for five and a half years, I've been saving thumbnails for three of those years, when I explain what a bug is, I don't really expect to be told how to make a thumbnail show, even when I've explained that it is a bug. Sorry if this sounds rude, it's not supposed to be.
