About "bump" and it's time limit of 24 hours (question)

For those of you that don't know “bump” is something people put in the comments of their forum post to Bump Up My Post to the front page again.
It has a limit of 24 hours before you can do it again… so my question…

Do you have to wait 24 hours on every post as a whole or separate?
Meaning, i post Post A and it goes off the front page, so i comment bump.
i have another post called Post B, that's no longer on the front page.
do i have to wait 24 hours before bumping Post B?
Or can i bump it and then wait 24 hours before doing it again?

The Forums

Have you got a question that would be fit for the forums but you can't post on any because you only have a Scratch Account and the only forums on Scratch only allow you to post Scratch related things?
Well, then use that! It's completely organized in the comments as to allow the same moderation as with other Scratch comments.
But you can say way much more. If you want to open a vote, or any question or guide, you can do so in the forums!

It's 24 hours before you can bump the same topic. You can bump two different topics within 24 hours of eachother.

At the moment you can bump topics with no posts within the last day or that are not on the front page.

I don't really use this account any more.

Pretty sure the 24 hour wait used to be an “encouraged suggestion” by the community and some ST members, unsure if it is a proper rule now.

stop fuming and start loving :p

The wiki says: “Bumping should generally be limited to once every 24 hours, or once the topic is no longer on the first page of the forum; however, it is good Scratch Etiquette to wait at least a couple of days before a bump.”

So no, there isn't currently an exact rule of how often you can bump, but you're encouraged to wait at least 24 hours between bumps.

There is no time limit, it is simply if it falls off the first page.
