Once my classmates and I got into an argument about whether Bluey was for babies, and then it somehow deteriorated into an argument about kids in Stranger Things, and then into the IMDB ratings of Star Wars, and then it turned into the ongoing debate of Lasagna vs Onion, two foods that have nothing in common, and now the thread is offtopic.

I've seen a lot of people talk about how unironically good Bluey is. Is there large appeal for older audiences, or is it just another Numberblocks-fandom type thing?

there are some episodes specifically for teens/parents (Barky Boats, Takeaway, Baby Race) or adult jokes (non-Disney distributed Daddy Putdown, Stumpfest)

+ i know what the numberblocks fandom is like so my answer is probably not

it took me way too long to realize bluey was a girl, which is good, i'm glad they didn't make her pink or put a bow on her like every cartoon does with every girl character i swear-

Bluey has a genuine older fanbase that isn't creepy, unlike Paw Patrol, so it's got that going for it. That's because it's clearly written with both kids and adults in mind to be enjoyable for the whole family.
