Many people think poop is “low brow” humor. That was me until a few weeks ago when I discovered why “poop” was so funny. So, I should describe how poop is humorous due to multiple reasons. 1. Is the way the word itself is constructed, the word starts with a “P” and ends with a “P” sounds. Making a satisfying way to say “poop” is why it is funny due to how it produced and how weird it is. 2. Poop is funny due to how everyone poops. Even kings and queens. It is a funny image to think of someone who does these disgusting yet funny acts. 3. Poop is funny due to it being used in many ways. it can be used in slapstick and obverrstial type of humor. 4. Poop is funny because of the way humans think. A few of the first recorded jokes in history were ‘Fart’ jokes, which relate back to poop. Due to these ideas being planted in our heads for thousands of years. We continue to find these humorous. 5. Poop is funny because it is an awkward topic. In conclusion, poop is funny due to human behavior, the word itself, how everyone does it, how awkward it is, and the many ways it can be used.
