A Private/Incognito Mode

So I had an idea…what if you could have a private mode on Scratch? As in you didn't appear in your followers “What's Happening” box, and your “What I've Been Doing” box disappeared. Maybe you don't want some of your followers to know what you've been loving or favoriting because they might not approve and/or you could get backlash.

This signature was eaten by a kumquat that goes by the name Alexander the Great. The kumquat can not be found as it died in June 323 BC. And, there is no solid evidence that this specific kumquat ate this specific signature, but we can always believe. If anybody is willing to help in the search to find the body of the kumquat, please contact Cleopatra, oh, wait, I'm sorry, I just got word that they died in August 30 BC. This is not quite the same thing. What the OP appears to be suggesting is to have a thing where you can still love and favourite projects, join studios, comment on things and follow people, but your activity is hidden from the public.

They edited their post — originally they had this suggestion as well as a suggestion for an option to not be able to interact with the community/post comments, I'm pretty sure.

Have a button or some way to turn off the chatting system. The reason for this is that a lot of children's' parents don't want their children/child to talk online, and they are forced to leave because of that. Isn't that sad? It makes me sad. So please ST. When you create a scratch account you have to put your age, so I think that there should be a box saying: Comments: Yes / No
And you should be able to change it in the settings.

The OP seems to be suggesting being able to do normal scratch things like following griffpatch but it doesn't show up on what's happening and what I've been doing. Users would still be logged into their account.
