Re-add the tag limit

I think that a tag limit of 20 would be the best, you'll never need more.

Support because the example you gave is totally taking advantage of the tgs system so that the user can get as much attention from search results as they can. I think the tag limit should be re-implemented because it helps prevent people taking advantage of it like this. Also I replied quickly because I'm pretty active on the forums.

Back in Scratch 2.0, there was a limit on how many tags you can use. Although that got taken away in 3.0 and many Scratchers are taking advantage of this. I’m not kidding this all was included in just ONE project. Yes, all of these tags where crammed in one project. Yet 95% is just unrelated and spammed tags. Please add the tag limit back.

I just realized that it’s pretty obvious on which scratcher made that project.

Support! This is a problem. The limit was 3 in 2.0, so we should increase it in 3.0 to maybe 5?

Support. I've never seen that many unrelated tags in a project- unbelievable. I'm sure there are others out there doing that as well, and it's definitely unfair that someone could just put a simple tag that says #griffpatch or something when the project is completely unrelated, and get a bunch of loves and favorites just because of that. Like @sportfan999 said above, a 5-tag-limit would be good. Plus, if I remember correctly, 2.0 had categories you could select from (ex. Art, Games, Music, etc). We wouldn't have to go back to that, but it would be something to consider.

Yeah I think we should settle on 5 tags rather than 10 for 3.0. I think that the tag system should be like the one in 2.0 with just categories
