Has anyone developed a working scratch extension to add hyperlinks yet?

Like when a sprite is clicked, it opens a web page in a new tab, or even better, loads another scratch project?

Is it even possible?

It would be super useful for everyone and open up a whole myriad of possibilities.

I have the same question! (I hope this isn't considered necroposting) I knew how to do it back in 1.4, but in the 2.0 update they fixed the bug that allowed it (It involved pasting incredibly long strings of text into scratch blocks, which brought up an error message and you could mess with it from there), but now, as far as I know, there is no limit anymore (therefore no error message) so you can't use that method anymore. Also, I know the hyperlink couldn't go to external chat (as per the Community Guidelines) but other than that, I think it wouldn't be going against any rules AND it would be helpful. Especially for other scratch projects. Even if it was ONLY for other Scratch projects. But, yeah. Anyways, I'm following this thread.
