Anyway, it seems we're too lazy to go back a few pages. Also, we're not doing this to confuse people, but to keep our posts tidy, readable, and less of a cluster frick. Again, nothing wrong with going back a few pages. Oh yeah, no-snipping isn't in the posting guidelines! And as for no-misquoting, it's not like we're ruining the original posts. That is misquoting.

Also, remember when I doubled a post in OG SMM2 topic, just to see if anyone would snip it, because it took up too much of a page?

IMO that's a very slim use case. Bulletin boards don't take a long time to load since they don't contain a ton of Javascript and stuff that the user's computer has to download and render, unlike modern social sites.
