I found a workaround.
It's better than just repeating the sound and hardly lowering volume

when I receive [echo v]
set volume to (100) %
repeat until <(volume) = [0]>
play sound [Crunch v]
change volume by (-5)
end

Edit: I forgot a wait block but I'm too lazy

I think you're talking about a feature from a browser extension that can't be mentioned on Scratch…

Sorry to bug you if you followed this topic, but I just tried to make an echo in real life. The results were basically this:

play sound [A v] until done
change volume by (-70)
play sound [A v]

Even if this is late, this is true. It just makes it sound muffled the second time, and hardly lowers the volume. Spaced room = reverb, taken up room = small echo. Turbowarp/ echo just sounds like the audio was duplicated, put into a robot effect with no filter, and then copied and pasted back into the original audio, just barely lowering the volume. Also, I wouldn't say “BLOOP BLOOP”, more like “BLOOP BLOop”.
