Vectors do not upload properly

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 11021.81.0, Chrome 70.0.3538.110, Flash 31.0 (release 0)

I have an issue uploading vectors to sprites or costumes. Whenever I upload a vector file (which is .svg, by the way), it doesn't show up on the costume editor, or the stage. It just shows blank. However, the previews are showing them fine. Whenever I upload an image that isn't an .svg, it works perfectly fine.
Here's what happens when I upload .png, jpeg, or basically any image file other than svg

Here's what happens whenever I upload svgs.

Sorry you are having issues importing SVGs. Thanks for reporting. We are investigating some SVG import issues, so hopefully we can figure out what is going on for you soon.

What software are you using to create the SVGs? Or where are you getting the SVG files?

I use a vector converter.

I use a vector converter.

Like converting Bitmap to Vector? Do you use a particular converter? Any information on the software would help us. We could get the same software and test what might be going on.

Vectors do not upload properly

Hi there, first off congrats on getting Scratch 3 live. It's been great so far. I wanted to report a bug or a quirk that I'm not sure what the cause is and how to fix. I have two parallaxes (one done in Scratch 2 and the other in Scratch 3). In the Scratch 2 project, all is well and works as expected. In the Scratch 3 project, all is well with the mouse tracking, but in the preview window, a user can drag on any sprite and move it around. You can also click and drag on a sprite in the background and it would move to the foreground. This seems to only happen on my parallax created in Scratch 3.

Scratch 2 project where all is good:
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/264697246/

Scratch 3 project where the preview is allowing click and drag:
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/278467131/

Do you know why that is the case? Is this a bug?

Thanks,
@brownstick

I know this is a late reply, but the problem could be that the vector is so large you cant see it. To fix this you can use a vector resizer like https://www.iloveimg.com/resize-image/resize-svg, and set the size to more like 100 x 100.

First of all, this is from 2019. Secondly, that's likely because it's on cubeupload, which is blocked a lot.
Anyway, the reason that you could drag and drop the sprites was likely because of the drag mode, if you are still seeing this (I wish they would have both though).
