I'll go into it in more detail during the starting phase of the RP, but basically how the landmass is formed is by ripping different locations from the ground, and bringing them through a portal to add to the growing landmass. Think of the process as similar to how Angel Island was formed in the Sonic the Hedgehog canon, or how Ultron lifted Sokovia from the ground in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
