It's canon. he does use the integrity soul to fight.

But that doesn't mean that sans is a human. The Integrity soul is stored in the Barrier Room with the other souls, and there's a coffin for the Integrity soul's human in the castle. How could the body be in the coffin but also be sans somehow? Besides, other bosses use different coloured souls for their attacks as well, such as Undyne with Kindness and Muffet with Perseverance. That doesn't make them human somehow, it's just something that monsters can do. I mean heck, Papyrus also uses the Integrity soul. Does that mean that him and sans are the same person?
