I know that you got rid of the eraser tool and that you shift-click on a piont in the reshape tool to erase, but what about pictures?
I was just trying to erase a bit of a picture so it would only show the head, but it didn't work!

The picture: was it a bitmap image you managed to import into the editor or a vector image?

I think so, It was a picture off the internet

it won't work, i tried with images i got from the internet, it won't rub out.

Ah, that explains it. The eraser will come back when the bitmap features get integrated into the 2.0 Editor.

But my eraser didn't come back.

Yep! About a week or two, and we'll have the bitmap editor as a choice. It'll have an eraser.

I was wondering how you would choose between vector and bitmap
Would you have to consistently use the same one, or could you make an image in bitmap, but then go back and edit it in vector?
