time for some flames

I was really into bootleg NES games. One caught my eye on somethingawful.com; Plumb Man is Missing!. I downloaded it onto my computer and ran it on my emulator. The game started out as normal, but before Fat Turtle's minion kidnapped Plumb Man, the sky went red, Plumb Man's eyes turned red, and the title screen said, “PLUMB MAN IS DEAD!” This happened for a split second as the menu showed up. It reminded me of Sonic 3. There were three files: Green Plumb Man, Dino Boi, and Fat Turtle. Only Green Plumb Man was unlocked. I was taken into World 1-1 of SMB. I went left, and a screen popped up saying, “This aint a bootleg. It's a hack that is a parody of Sonic.EXE! April Fools!” I quit the game. Nothing happened. It was a harmless mod. ye
