Does it exist in a project? If so where did it come from - copied from another project or what? In Scratchblocks in this forum you can create all sorts of blocks that don't exist in Scratch but that doesn't mean much.

I think it was red, I saw this block too. I have no idea what it's supposed to be for. What was the color of the block?

There are various reasons why Scratch may show a strange looking block but in most cases it probably just means the block is no longer defined and effectively does nothing, By all means tell us where you found it.
I've never hacked blocks so don't know much about them but am guessing a hacked block may do something but still appear in a state where what it does is far from obvious.

If you cannot connect it(you said it is squared one) to any other regular Scratch block it will do nothing. So it is an useless hacked block.

It is null. It does nothing. You can connect it to other blocks. It is made by downloading the project as a zip, editing the json file and converting back to sb2. You cannot share any project/remix with this block in it so it must be added after the project is shared. This block can be backpacked.
Hope I answered your questions.

The block is a broken bock from a command in another project. If you remixed the project and deleted some stuff, that is what a block can possibly become once its command is deleted.
I hope this helped you!
