how long was fnaf banned from scratch?

It's not banned, it's just that the inappropriate parts were banned. It's had restrictions against it for years.

Since the games main attraction is banned (Jumpscares) the game has been banned in all but name since 2015

In November 2015 they announced that they'll add the restrictions.
