Scratch for Wii U

Scratch should get a Wii U port.Because using both screens could make coding easier. I also know a lot of people with Wii U who would love to be able to play scratch games and make them on the Wii U.

If you want to join the most creative studio on Scratch than ask to join Scratch Underground If you want to join Scratches Premium studio than ask to join Scratch Deluxe I hope you ask to join one of those and have a nice day. Scratch for Wii U

The Wii U, while is still technically supported by Nintendo, Nintendo don't want anything to do with it any more. But when Scratch 3.0 comes out, you will be able to use the web browser since 3.0 uses HTML.

No support. The WII U is pretty much dead. Also, Nintendo wouldn't want to do this because it doesn't benefit them (I mean, no-one's going to buy a WII U specifically to go on Scratch with, are they?)

My alt account, where I upload nothing (much like my main account)
I play video games and sometimes do other things. I don't really make anything on Scratch anymore, but I'm relatively active on the Undertale and Deltarune forums.

Well it was never really about the Wii U even when it was the current console.

I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

Existing users might enjoy it. Personally I don't have a Wii U but I know a lot of people who do and would like this idea.

But what would this be? A program on a cartridge? Something online. What are you suggesting.

Scratch for Wii U

No support, they're already working on app versions of Scratch and trying to take it off flash so it works on phones/tablets/mobile devices. I also don't think it's that useful or is going to be used much at all..
Not to mention that I have no idea how they're going to make Scratch for Nintendo devices..

Well the ST can't control that, and I highly doubt Nintendo would do it.

Wii U isn't a portable (the thing with the screen is the controller, not the console), therefore it doesn't use cartridges (the only home console that uses cartridges currently is the Switch, but that's a hybrid console, and cartridges these days hold more data than disks)

Scratch for Wii U

Nobody cares about the Wii U anymore, though… If anything, this should be about the Switch, but in reality the Switch is getting an internet browser soon, and Scratch is going to work with HTML5… And the Switch has a touch screen in portable mode… (So Scratch will only work in portable mode unless they add some weird mouse system with the console itself.)

Scratch for Wii U

Nintendo has pretty much dropped support for the Wii U as they are no longer releasing titles for it or selling it in the first place. I'm not sure the Scratch Team even has the power to do that anyways.

Scratch for Wii U

Putting Scratch on a market failed console for Nintendo?
-1
Switch would've been more reasonable, but consoles aren't the platform coding goes on in, so showing of Scratch there makes little logical sense

If there's a browser for Wii U, then it'll probably support Scratch 3.0

There is a browser for Wii U, but I don't think it supports HTML5.
I don't think the Nintendo Switch, for that matter, will support it either (even when it does eventually get an internet browser), due to how easily online games could replicate their own software in some cases, allowing for people to play some of their games, especially the releases on the console itself, for free online.

YouTube works, so I think it does support HTML5.
