Prologue ~ Prophecy

Stormfur smelled the air. A storm's coming, she thought.
Her mother, Archleaf was kitting today. She walked to the prey pile, grabbed the nearest vole, and walked back to her mother. Even though the prey was low, they still had enough prey to feed the whole ThunderClan for two moons. When she got back to the new queen, she saw the kit.
“ Listen Stormfur,” Archfur sounded urgent, “ I don't have much time left. Her name is Lightningkit. She's special. Train her properly. She has an old forgotten power. It belongs to ThunderClan.” The queen, closed her eyes. “I believe in you…” Archleaf- now in starclan- had told her that the newborn kit had powers. What kind? she asked herself. At that same moment the lightning struck the little she-kit. Stormfur, expecting to smell something burning, as blinded by the kit - who was now glowing-. “ Wicked,” she breathed. “ Six kits shall come to rise,” said a mysterious, faraway voice. Stormfur turned to see a StarClan cat- Her mother,- delivering a prophecy. “One of storm, one of Oceans. One of stars , one of Amber. One of shadows, one of echoes. Together, they will form a clan so powerful, it will either destroy or protect the world.” In a flash, her mother was gone.

Chapter 1

LightningPaw looked around the river. Her sister - Stormfur - told her to go here today.
She didn't know why though.
