Would help to stop necroposting. Since already solved threads are prone to being bumped up and then wasting peoples' time by scrolling down finding out that it was already solved.

While this would be a useful necro-protector, what if people want to bump their topic after a few month of inactivity? What if another person wanted to bump the topic? What if another user actually added new and relevant information to the topic?

Make a new topic, or reopen the old one.

If it's been dead for a month, then I don't see the reason someone would suddenly decide to add something to it.

I say extend the time to 3 months, and add a re-open button visible only to the original poster. (The re-open button would only appear for automatically closed posts, not ones that a moderator closed or the original poster closed themselves.)
I would also say that this shouldn't be applicable to certain forums. I see no reason this would hurt the questions about scratch forum, but I do think relevant information can definitely be added in suggestions, especially since necros here are somewhat non-existant.

Will your ideas have no value in a few months?

If you felt your ideas had value, you wouldn't let it die.

Hi!

Please don't “piggyback” off others' posts unless you plan to add your own thoughts and opinions to the discussion. I've noticed you in particular seem to have a lot of difficulty on the forums. Here's a link to a stickied topic you can read if you need help.

Because, they don't have anything else to add, but they do want to say no support, so they “piggyback” off peoples posts.
