Lunera - 2D Survival Sandbox Game || Canceled

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★
ABOUT
Lunera is a work in progress 2D survival sandbox games inspired by the likes of Terraria, Starbound, and Minecraft. It is currently being programmed in C# using the Unity game engine. The game's current version is version 0.0.25. So far there's not too much that can be done in game, only some basic mining, building, and fighting. Plans for future development include bosses, an inventory system, a story, and much more!

HELP
I am looking for a possible team for this game! If you are interested in helping to develop this game in any way, be it art, music, programming, etc. please let me know by filling out the form linked above. I'm not saying that a team will actually end up happening, but for now I'd like to see if there is an interest. Here's the positions you could “sign up” for.
Positions:
(3) - Programmer (knowledge of C# coupled with the Unity Game Engine)
- Artist
- Musician
- Organizer (organizes the game and its files)
- The Thinker (comes up with ideas)

Thats pretty cool! I do a lot with Unity too which is why I'm not super active on scratch
The Unity engine is so amazing and helps game creation a ton! Your game looks pretty great so far, how long have you been working on this?

I'm also not active on Scratch because of Unity as well XD. Also, thanks! I've probably been working on Lunera for less than a month. And the Unity Engine is super awesome! Do you like programming in C# or UnityScript (JS for Unity)?

Can you please give a link to the game?
Thanks for expressing interest in trying my game!
The game is currently a work in progress, as a result I don't know if I'm ready to let others try it yet. There's not actually much to do in it currently XD. Maybe I'll put up a link to play the alpha version, but we'll see.

First enemy of the game: Lunar Skull (name subject to change). I'm proud of this creation because I was able to add wall detection so that he can jump over the big lunar rocks.
Here's all three of its hideous faces that it can spawn with:

Here's a video of it in action.

You should rename the Lunar Skull to Skull Block
Also add peaceful mode, where enemies don't spawn
Good idea for a name for the Lunar Skull. Also, a peaceful mode. Didn't think of that. I'll probably have two options for the game, peaceful and normal mode. Maybe even an aggressive mode

The arms of the character looks funny when the right arm is holding an object and points it to the left side of the screen, pointing it upside down.
Maybe you change that so that if you point an object to the left side of the screen, the left hand is used, and if the object is pointed to the right, it switches back over to the right hand.
That way it doesn't look so weird.
But I see this game could actually become a really good game, and it could be released on Steam if you wanted to if it's ready! I hope the development of this game goes very well, Survival Sandbox games are getting rare to come across now that everyone wants FPS games like Overwatch and CoD. Survival Sandbox games are much better than shooters, to be honest. They last a lot longer and you can make/do whatever you want to do in them.

You can put free games on Steam. (Unturned is free and it's on Steam.) It's also easy to get a steam account. Just say that you're 13 or above. Steam itself is free. Please don't put it on steam, I'd never be able to play it
Though of course it can be up for a download on another website but then steam multiplayer isn't available.

Yeah, the arm thing is a little weird. I'll work on that XD. Also, thanks! And I'll agree, sandbox games overall are a lot better than shooters.

In it's current state, I won't put it on Steam. But maybe in the far-ish future. I could also put it on other sites, so you'd still be able to play it.

I'm considering taking in some testers!
If you're interested, please reply back, and preferably with a Game Jolt account user name.
Please note that as a tester you will be asked to give feedback. But, as a tester, you'll be able to get a sneak peak of my game and - if the game works out - I'll include your username in the credits.
Thanks!

Sneak peak of the new monster!

It will have several different looks, besides the one above, including a rare look (but I'm not going to tell you what it is

Questions:
1. What are the minimum system requirements?
2. What software do you use to make the sprites?
3. Does it include music?

1. Eh…dunno exactly yet. So far it runs pretty well on Windows 7 32/64 bit computer that I'm using to make it. So minimum OS is probably Windows 7, and a minimum 32 bit.
2. Piskel (piskelapp.com)
3. Yes
