Sounds like an issue with Cloud Variables that we need to look into
In the current player, the program shows the “username block” warning even if your project does not use the username block.

The ghosted sprite stamping bug was just fixed. How does it look to you now?
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/13096145/ with the stars still having the grey outline around them and only working when the ball is not rotating. I also noticed that the fullscreen button doesn't work, too. Is this an update or just a way to “bump” the topic in the scratch news? Oh–and you may want to edit your post. It says “Don't forget to press the button” instead of “don't forget to press the My browser / operating system button”.My project still doesn't work.

I tested it on this project:
http://scratch.mit.edu/testplayer/#11149050
It seems much faster than the old player. I did notice that when I used the map feature on my project, there were white lines running through the map that don't appear on the normal player. The script for drawing the map runs without a screen refresh, so that could be part of the problem.
Other than that, I didn't see any problems.

Thanks for testing! Actually, if you run the project in the old player and switch to full screen you will see the lines. They are a bit fainter but they are there.

Still doesn't work. My background is not stamped. It is just a background, and the ball only moves around and changes costumes and changes size. It doesn't require any cloning or stamping or ghosting.
Instead, I think it is a problem with either crooked pixels or compressed images. I will start with the easier-to-explain maybe possible solution:
1: THE TEST PLAYER IS COMPRESSING IMAGES.
Go to my project and play it in the testplayer. Zoom in to 400% if possible. Scroll down to where the star is located. Do you see the ring of grey around the star? It's not supposed to be there. ALL I DID TO MAKE THE STAR WAS USE THE WHITE PAINTBRUSH AT A BIG SIZE AND CLICK ONCE. I didn't edit it in gimp either, so it shouldn't be there.
2: THE TEST PLAYER IS SENSING HALFPIXELS WHILE THE BALL IS ROTATED.
This one is the trickier problem to fix I would think, but incase option #1 fails, here it is. I noticed that my ball wouldn't sense the grey outline around the white when the ball forever pointed in direction 90. So I wonder: is the slight grey outline a graphic feature that the ball is sensing when it's rotated? Because the ball was drawn in 1.4, it only has the smallest type of pixels 1.4 offers. But when it rotates, does the testplayer add more pixels to the image to keep it less pixely? This could let it sense pixels that are smaller than what it should sense and throw it off.
3: THE BALL IS MORPHING INTO THE BACKGROUND.
Once I was able to stop the project when the ball was touching the white star but it had not restarted yet. I put it at 400% zoom, PrintScreened it, and put into my computer's paint program. I then found that the ball had many pixels of grey around it! (The ball has a black outline around it, not sure if you can tell but it's there). I lastly used the color picker to find that one of the grey pixels was the same as the color that you aren't supposed to touch.

Hey grokblah, could you check out this weird problem?
This project in the new Test-Player can't be tested, because it doesn't detects the mouseclick. The actual Player does, but without it more testing is impossible and it is also one of these stamp-games, which have many bugs and glitches with th new player.
Older test-Players worked also on this moment of the game, but this does not

I have a project that's small, but it doesn't want me to add more music. I can't upload it for you to see either cause it won't let me.
