Yes, but the main difference is that everyone experiences fear, anger, etc, but not everyone experiences bipolar disorder and therefore it's less relatable.

By the way, has everyone played Toby Fox's demo of his new game? It REALLY reminds me of Mother 3, and it might even be better gameplay-wise than the original Undertale.

I haven't played an Earthbound/MOTHER game, but I have some ideas for a fourth game. It would be a soft reboot or alternate universe/timeline-type thing.
