Decorate Variables, Speech Bubbles, and Lists?

I really want to be able to make variables,lists, and thought/speech bubbles customisable!

Try making a sprite like a speech bubble (Customize ALL THE WAY) and then code it to appear near the speaking thing!

So no support, just code it yourself. It's the point of Scratch!

How would I make a variable reader that is at 0, 0 and is 50 pixels wide, 10 pixels high, has a font size of 10 pixels, and the background is white while the background for the value is blank and the font color is #3e3e3e?

This suggestion might actually be good, it is workaround-able but doing those can be very difficult
