Ways to Copyright Material

Shops, Studios, and Collaborations:
These are tricky to copyright.You must specify what you want to copyright. This includes Shop front page, artwork, ideas, etc.
1. Creative Commons Attribution (If anyone uses the specified work from your shop, they must give credit)
2. Reuse (may reuse with credit)
3. Reuse with Modification (may reuse if they change it, but still must give credit)
4. All Rights Reserved (No one may use the specified work)
Art and Projects:
1. Label for reuse (reuse with credit)
2. Label for reuse with modification (reuse with credit and some kind of modification to the art)
3. All Rights Reserved (No one may use this work)
Music:
1. Creative Commons Attribution (Allow others to copy, edit, and distribute music with credit)
2. Creative Commons No Derivative Works (Allow others to only copy and distribute exact copies of the music with credit)
3. Creative Commons Share Alike (Forces others to obtain a license to distribute and/or use edited copies of your work)
4. All Rights Reserved (No one may use this work)
Writing:
1. Creative Commons Attribution (Allow others to copy, edit, and distribute music with credit)
2. All Rights Reserved (No one may use this work)

Exceptions to Copyright

-Names of Products*
-Names of Businesses, Organizations, or Groups*
-Pseudonyms of individuals
-Titles of work*
-Catchwords*, Catchphrases*, Mottoes*, Slogans*, Short Advertising Expressions*

Exclusive** Rights of a Copyright Holder

-Can produce copies of work and sell them
-Can import and export work
-Can create derivatives of the work
-Can publicly display work
-Can sell/give the rights to others (after notifying us here)
-Can use work in videos

How to Copyright

Comment below with product and evidence that it is original work, or you have permissions to copyright this work.
Employers have the right to copyright work to the specified company with the maker's permission.

How will this be Enforced

We will have a reporting system to identify broken copyrights. We will also have a team of qualified and fair members who will solve disputed issues and make sure your work stays your work

To ensure that people know the specific product is copyrighted, Make sure to type the © character beside copy righted works or specify in project instructions. To type this use these instructions:

Windows:
1. Turn off num lock
2. hold down alt and press these numbers: 0169
3. Let go of alt, and © should show up

Mac:
1. Press Option + G (no shift) to show ©

To obtain a watermarked copyright certificate, please specify in “Other” when applying

Ways to Trademark Materials

Mottoes, Slogans, Company Names, etc.
- All Rights Reserved (No one may use this)
- Noncommercial Reuse (Can be reused, but not for a company)

Why Trademark?

-Will ensure quality from your company
-Will give you exclusive use of said motto, slogan, etc.

How to Trademark

Comment below with form given.
Employers have the right to Trademark the specified company, as do TSF representatives.

How will this be Enforced

Trademarks are used to ensure that only specific companies or individuals can use the marked text or name. They are also used to ensure quality from a company. If your company becomes inactive, this trademark may be refuted. This is up to the digression of the court.

Otherwise, reports can be filed against the violator, and the court will judge the case.

To ensure that people know the specific product is trademarked, Make sure to type the ™ character beside copy righted works or specify in project instructions/notes. You can also use ® to specify a product coming out of a trademarked company.
Ex: Nike™ vs New Nike Shoes®!
To type these use these instructions:
