This blog has existed a while, but its only recently that I have decided: Why not use it to post about games and stuff too? So here, visit http://blog.miniuniversegames.comyr.com/ to read about the best games on the market!

(Will be posting shortly, reply if there is a game you'd like me to review and I will buy & review it).

You have an extensive post about rules for commenting on your blog even though registration is disabled. Just a heads-up in case you didn't realise.

Personally I'd like to see you review the new Amnesia game but that's just my cruel sense of humour.

The extensive post is barely for about posting comments on the blog, but you can post comments as guests (I think anyway). The rules are actually for the forums. If you go to the forums and go to the rules page there, you'll notice it links to the blog post for more detailed rules. That's the only reason the blog post is there.

Looks good, according to the trailer on Steam. Maybe you could do a review of it? Post the review here, along with some pics and I'll post it on the blog, along with credit to you.

From the few videos I've watched on it, it looks like it may only be suitable for older viewing. I'm trying to pick games that are for 12s or less, since I want to choose games that almost anybody can buy.

I was thinking about buying and reviewing the game “Shelter” on Steam. Anybody know if it's any good?

To keep things on topic - Shelter would be interesting. That's the badger-based survival game, isn't it?

Alternatively I really enjoyed Receiver. It's on offer at the moment. Does it qualify as suitable? The only enemies are little flying drones and static sentry guns. It's got an amazing atmosphere to it.

I was joking. It was the first game that came to mind that would be totally unsuitable for your blog. Not everything I say should be taken to be super serious - this is just the way I talk!

Similarly I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm trying to give some useful feedback (because when I was in your position no one gave me anything useful!).

Nope, registered users only. I mentioned it because you didn't seem to know. Check the settings under Settings -> Discussion.

In the post it said it was for both. If it's there as a reference page for the forums take a look at WordPress' pages section. It's handy for creating static stuff (like “About this blog” pages and the like)

Also, what forums? All I see is a blog.

Wait, I think I've tracked it down - at the subdomain's root there's a page. Clicking "6 More…“ shows a ”More Pages" section with some buttons that can't be read due to the low contrast. One seems to go to the forums. Stealthy!

Are they actually a secret? XD

For reference this is how it looks on my monitor:

I'd post a screenshot but I don't think it'd convey the colours the way they actually display (as presumably the contrast thing isn't an issue on your monitor).

The forums aren't meant to be secret. If you notice in the very middle-top of the screen there is also a Forums and a Blog button. I'll take a look at Receiver, and after I buy Shelter, I'll see if I have enough to spare for Receiver.

You really didn't understand that I was joking? I can't tell if you're winding me up in return. That'd be quite the counter though

It's not on offer any more. Gotta strike while the iron is hot!
