Learn Programming Now
Learn Programming Now is a little something I'm starting up to help others learn programming outside of Scratch. Right now it's just me and I only have one lesson of Java up. It's not even a lesson, just downloading the stuff you'll need.
Signing up to teach
If you want to teach, please fill out the form below
If you are accepted
If you are accepted as a teacher please post the lessons here so I can move them over to the website. Please make sure to stay active or else you will be removed as a teacher.
Make your first lesson about installing what is needed (Text Editors, compilers, etc.). Screenshots throughout all your lessons are not needed but are appreciated.
Teachers
Java
- cobraguy
Basic HTML
- Rumanti
CSS
-scratchisthebest
PHP
-Heilong
Also, if someone could make a banner to go on top of the homepage and one for a signature, that would be AWESOME!
Hopefully we can add more languages, teachers, and lessons!

I guess you could call it that. You can look at the only lesson on the website so far to get an idea of what a lesson might look like, but it doesn't have to look like that though.I want to polish my HTML… But how do we teach? Did we make “articles” and “stuff” ?

Hey,
I made the learn project a while ago and chose to cancel it.
I still have the code for the website. note, however, that it does not include any form of admin section, so you will have to add text files for lessons manually.
If you are interested, shoot me a profile comment.
Thanks!

Okie dokey
I think I might do a little research before signing myself up. But.
Whatever.
Programming language you want to teach: Basic HTML
Experience in the language (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or 1/10): 7.5/10
How active are you (1/10): (on Scratch, if that is what you meant) 6/10

Hey,I know, I was sad to see the Learn Project go down so I wanted to make a new one. I won't be needing the code for the original because I'm making it from weebly though.

To me, teaching is the best learning, assuming I know the basics.
I could teach beginner JS.

Introduction
HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. HTML is one of the main language to create websites and it's content. For example, it provides information for the browser whatever a text is bold or not. HTML is a free programming language to make websites.
You do not need to install or download anything to run HTML. Because it depends on your browser.
Most browser support HTML.
( I already checked my English. Tell me if anything is incorrect. There should be no typos. )

Why? I was going to make it without weebly but figured it would be too slow. I'm also too lazy to find a good web hosting service.noHey,I know, I was sad to see the Learn Project go down so I wanted to make a new one. IntroductionThanks for the intro! I extended it just a bit and changed three words, just browser to browsers, whatever to whenever, and language to languages. Oh, and are you gonna be teaching HTML 5?

I'm probably going to try to learn HTML soon, but I was wondering where to start. I'm probably going to get a book about it at the library, do you think that would be good?

HTML 5 is the newest version of HTML, so your best bet is to find a book that teaches HTML 5. If you can't, then I would recommend looking online for some stuff.
