Hello, as you can see, this thread is about programming sites (and I believe you just discovered Captain Obvious' identity while reading this). I know about Codecademy, and I'm still using it for things, but are there any other sites? Codecademy is great and all, and I actually get to do things whereas a book just tells you how, but it doesn't teach some programming languages (C, C+, C++, Java, C#, etc.). So, if you would be so kind as to teel me about any you know, I would be forever grateful.

Codecademy already teaches Javascript; StarscreamClone is looking for a site which teaches other languages, such as the C's.

You can check out Lynda, and maybe you can find something useful on Edx. Otherwise, there are lots of specialty coding sites for specific languages, which are easy to find by searching “C++ tutorial” or whatever. Finding online courses as good as Codecademy is a rarity, though; I don't know of many sites because I usually just buy books.

There is a really good site I've heard in the past called Kidzworld (also known as KW.)
