The Minecraft: Pocket Edition Thread
Greetings Scratchers, and welcome to…
THE MINECRAFT: POCKET EDITION THREAD!!!
Finaly, a friendly, Pocket-Edition only place to discuss all things Minecraft PE! Now, I know what you're thinking-but Mech, isn't there an official forum somewhere for that? Well, yes, but a lot of people swear there, and the news is really slow, so I thought I'd make a safe one!
Have fun!

I'm pretty sure this is in the wrong place. There is already an Official Minecraft Topic in MaC.

This is devoted strictly to Pocket Edition, as it is often neglected and overlooked.

The Minecraft Official Topic is not specified to any edition, therefore it should be used for all editions in my opinion.

Why don't we let it run for a while and see how much interest it generates? I will move it to Things I'm Making and Creating though, just to be consistent with the other MC topics. Give this a month or so. If it doesn't work out, trash it.

PE is pretty cool, I like the new splashes.
I use an app that allows you to do multiplayer online without jailbreaking

Now this is a thread I'm looking for!
I created pixel art, rollercoasters, and practiced my swordsmanship till I became a master!
Also, the current version is; v.0.8.1
Thanks everyone!

How well does the multiplayer app work? A friend of mine says it always disconnects after about 30 seconds of playing. I have also seen a few bad reviews on the App Store.

It's really cool because the world is quite small, and you can convert it into your own little place.

I love to control the spawns for the nighttime monsters. In my mine, I'll make a big room with no light then I close it off. By the time I come back it's fill with zombies, spiders, skeletons, and creepers. I like to rush in there and have a deathmatch with all of them.

I used to do love doing that. I don't think they had creepers back then though. I love to control the spawns for the nighttime monsters. Creepers add a whole new level of difficulty to the deathmatch. XDI used to do love doing that. I don't think they had creepers back then though. For me I'd just wait until night and run out and test my skills with the bow and sword.

The game is alright, but the controls have been made more awkward and whenever I drag my thumb up to look up, I also destroy a bunch of blocks that my thumb was also selecting.
But hey, this is iOS, not on a keyboard.

You should increase your sensitivity to prevent that. unless the blocks are 8 blocks away and you're in creative.

Pocket Edition is pretty awesome, but now that I've gotten used to the PC controls, I really can't go back.
