Good call. That way people get the idea better without the need to imply much - so I support it. That is, unless there's some sort of punishment for saying “do not remix” or something.

Support for both! Maybe make it appear on your first 5 projects?

And, no, this is not a necropost because it is still useful.

You can ask me anything, even if it's not Scratch related, on my profile. Use this cloud to write out cloud variables in the forums. ☁

Some of us ST members had discussed about suggestion #2 recently. We were thinking about more of a yes/no option, in which if users are okay with the project being remixed (click on “yes”) the project gets shared, and if “no” the project remains unshared.

As for suggestion #1: interesting idea, though most of the questions and other additional information about remixes are answered in the FAQ already. Maybe a link to the FAQ section about remixing next to the guidelines might be better?

Just wanted to note: I notice the title implies that recolors and remixes are different. However, we count recolors as one form of remixing. Perhaps it would be better to change the title as “Better educate Scratchers about recolors and other forms of remixing”.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.

I don't think adding any new guidelines is going to help.

I'm just a little cosmic hamster from Planet NO, which is in another dimension. Are you, too?

Check out my games, if you want to. I make sure to share a cool variety, but even though I haven't shared much, I try to make each one count, but they can only count to 7 so far.

SUPPORT! I've seen many people saying that they will report you if you remix their project. =_=

Support. Still it can be annoying if people keep recolouring projects and counting that as a creative remix.

Check out Life Raft Survival, my new advanced sandbox survival game with crafting, building, transportation, weather events, tropical storms, and more!

In the game you're stranded at sea after a mysterious crash and must survive in an unforgiving tropical island environment collecting resources and crafting, in an attempt to finally be rescued.
