The 10th Dimension, or 10D for short, is a Scratch midi band. This means that we write songs on noteflight, but we don't record (partly because we make stuff too hard, partly because we don't play many instruments).

A little tour…

We started off back in November of 2012, as a little project to make one song together. The four members, Mazdafreak (NN15), Pronghorn5, CN12 (MerththeCat), and mythbusteranimator (FistofDeath) made a long song that sounded quite nice. So, they kept working together to make more songs, and wala. An album popped out six months later.

THE MEMBERS

CN12 is the leader of The 10th Dimension. He originally created a forum topic looking to do a song, and it has turned into a full fledged song-writing band! He has finished one song, alone with two more epics in progress! He is also running out of ideas.

CN12 is the band's drummer, and once took piano for five years. He designs the album covers.

Mythbusteranimator (who prefers going by “MBA” or “FistofDeath”) is the most active member. He has finished 7 songs in total, and is constantly getting new ideas (and trying to think of lyrics, his complete weak point). In collaborations, he is always the piano, and became the guitarist after inactivity by pronghorn5, Mazdafreak, and NN15.

He plays guitar and piano in real life, and is a young teenager. He hosts the songs on his own bandcamp account.

He came up with the band name “The Tenth Dimension” after a Scratch forum topic discussing upper dimensions. After a very imaginative talk with another user (check out Gravitation!), he decided that the 10D is really cool, and that 10D is an even cooler band name.

Mazdafreak is our guitarist. He loves cars, sports, food, and music. Obviously. Pronghorn5 also told him about Noteflight.

Pronghorn is the band's bassist for the first two songs. He has two songs on his own for 10D, but has a few other expiremental songs with his Crescendo (special) noteflight membership
Pronghorn5 takes Piano through Royal Conservatory/National Music Certificate Program/Carnegie Hall Achievement Program (it just keeps changing names) and has played for more than 7 years, has never touched a Bass guitar before, plays a lot of sports (in rec leagues, not competitively), and likes to cook. He is the one who told CN12 about Noteflight in the first place and so far has 60-70 scores, 8 or so that are shared.

mrsrec is the fifth and newest member in the band. We don't know anything about him/her.

FALSE RELIGION: Another acoustic start, but a fine example of don't judge a book by its cover. It leads into a heavy Drop-D riff, which in turn leads to an even heavier chorus!
