the technology for printing food is still in development so you'd have to pay quite a bit for a printer to print food.

my printer is hopefully coming friday or saturday

i'll be at camp for a week so at least i'll have something fun to do while i wait for it to print

Which printer are you guys getting? The ones I've seen are hugely expensive ($1000+)

I think they're a really innovative idea, but I think the technology has to improve more, and the software too. Most 3D Printers require you to use their own special software too. Apparently you can download 3D stuff off thepiratebay (which is legal right?) which is really cool.

I NEED A 3D PRINTER!!! GIVE ME IT!!!!!!!!! Just kidding, I want to make so many things with it. I find a lot on instructables.

3D print (oh, and they can do circuitry too!):

guns
computers/cell phones/smartphones/etc.
computer mice
pens
plastic toys (and metal ones, maybe)

And AFAIK, there's no laws about them, really…. much like drones
