How to modify Scratch 2.0 (For Free) (+Source Code)

How to Modify Scratch 2.0 without buying Flash or waiting on Scratch for source code!

Please note: I have no knowledge of Adobe Flash, so I do not know how to code this. I only know how to get the editor and the required source code. So please note - some programming knowledge required.

Step 1: Download the IDE!

FlashDevelop is a free and open-source IDE for coding Adobe Flash applications. You can download it at their official website.
THIS IS IMPORTANT! Go here to this thread as it has requirements that are especially required! Seriously, check it out!

Step 2: Get the source code!

This does require some effort. You can always get the latest revision of Scratch 2.0's .swf (which contains the player and the editor) here! But you cannot modify it with just that… So you need to decompile it!

Head over to this website and find the tool. Well, I heard that there is a tool… If any of you guys figure it out leave a post below and I will add it to the thread!

Step 3: Learn Flash!

This guide will NOT provide any information on how to code Adobe Flash, it is simply meant to give you the needed resources.
