Back to the scratch community! But what just happened O.o
Okay well good to be back after focusing on other programs, can anyone tell me what happened to everything?
And now the program isn't a program anymore? Just an online creation station? Okay yeah I prefer the old scratch better, I can use it when theres no internet
Thanks!

Don't worry. An offline version of the new project editor will be released soon.

Okay well good to be back after focusing on other programs, can anyone tell me what happened to everything?I can try telling you what happened. So for several years, Scratch 2.0 had been in development, and some alpha testers were invited over to an alpha site. Scratch 2.0 was lacking a lot of good features by then, but the ST was hard at work. After some more work by the ST, a second wave of beta testers were invited to the site, though some people started complaining about how 2.0 was worse then 1.4 (and there's still the occasional remark). I'm guessing that's because people don't like change, but they were some legitimate reasons in there. Anyway, on May 6th, the website went down, and on May 9th, Scratch 2.0 was official released. With it, there were several changes:

- Cloning, custom blocks, ect…
- An online project editor (the offline version will come)
- A new website
- A limit on tagging, so there won't be tag spam
That's just a few things. A more complete list can be found here, as well as more history: The Scratch Wiki
Any questions?
