So, I was poking into my messages and saw a funny tab, named “Alerts”. It never gets filled with anything, and if I use it to filter, nothing happens. My message area just goes blank.

Does anybody know what the tab is, what it means, and what it does?

In 1.4. you may have received admin messages. Well, in Scratch 2.0, alerts are actually admin messages!

So… let's say that you made a inappropriate project. The Scratch Team would remove it, and then notify you about that. And those notifications are alerts.

So… your alert area being blank is actually good as you didn't receive any messages that correct you!
